Christoffer Fremling

On this evening, Caltech staff astronomer Christoffer Fremling hosts the Institute's Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) program. During the summer, senior faculty members partner with undergraduate students to conduct investigations into key questions in contemporary astronomy and astrophysics.

This program gives aspiring undergraduates the opportunity to undertake research at the highest levels of the profession and tonight they will take their data on the Hale Telescope using the Double Spectrograph (DBSP) and the Wide-field Infrared Camera (WIRC).
